AlpacaSilk Felted Clutch

March 20, 2009

My first swing using fiber purchased from e-bay: alpaca Silk blend. It was yummy to lay out because it came apart in long strands and had a delightful sheen to it. The black is the New Zealand wool roving which I previously owned. The white turned out kind of wispy and I am wondering if it would crinkle up if it were dried in an automatic electric dryer. I enjoy this clutch and will keep it for my own collection. the over all dimension is 12 inches x 4.5 inches. The black side is the inside and the white spirals are the alpaca/silk.

Not sure why it is set up like this but if you click on each photo 2 times, you will get a micro view of the fibers.
This clutch is very much in line with my taste: simple elegant with a touch of color.
