Silk Scrap Scarves

The base is 12 MM silk, which I dyed with a cold setting acid dye using violets and blues accented with red. Miscellaneous remnants of silk have been randomly sewn onto the base. Raveling and gathered stitching with rayon thread add texture. The dimensions are 5 inches by 55 inches.
